R tailpiece and original toaster top 3PU specs, 340 in popular fireglow color. nut and frets have been replaced, and the fingerboard surface was refinished at that time. The pegs have been replaced with Schaller M6s and the truss rod cover has been replaced with an embossed type instead of a clear one. Each pot is original from '66, and the PU is also original. There is vinyl tape wrapped around the wiring to the jack, which I thought might be a soldering iron. There are also some solder marks. There is a 345 notation on the cavity. Usually, this indicates a model with vibrato, but there are no traces of it around the tailpiece. We do not know if the model was shipped out due to specification changes during the process, but we are listing it as 340 based on the current specifications.

There are some weather checks on the body, which gives the vintage Ricken a presence that cannot be found on the current models. There is a scratch on the upper left side of the front PU as if it was hit by an accessory. There are some scratches and dings on the top of the body, and the paint is peeling at the edge of the body. The back of the body has buckle scratches indicating that it has been well used as a tool, and the paint is peeling. There is evidence of a strap that has been moved to the heel of the neck. The paint is peeling mainly in the low position on the back of the neck, and also on the fret side in the high position. There is a crumbly feel to it in detail, but this is usual for vintage players, so please don't worry about it. The original holes are still there when the pegs were replaced, and the truss rod cover has cracks at the screw holes due to aging and tightening. There are also some paint peeling and dents around the head. The rubber under the pickguard is one piece instead of the usual two. The bridge has deteriorated considerably, but all adjustable parts are in good working order.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is in good working order. There are no string marks on the frets, and about 50-60% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 6th string (12F) and about 1.5mm on the 1st string (12F).

Overall, there are some parts that have been replaced, but nothing that will ruin the overall atmosphere. It does not have the 'jackin' and 'gutsy' sound that today's young players are looking for, but it has a unique tension and tone that is not found on the high street, and is a perfect match with the drive sound of a Marshall. The frets are low, as is typical of Ricken, but the neck is in good condition, which is one of the points we recommend!

Rテールピースにオリジナルトースタートップ3PU仕様、人気のファイヤーグローカラーの340。ナット&フレット交換されており、指板面はその際にリフィニッシュ。ペグがシャーラーのM6に交換され、トラスロッドカバーもクリアでなく、エンボスタイプに交換されております。各ポットは66年のオリジナルで、PUもオリジナル。ジャックへの配線途中にビニールテープが巻かれており、ハンダごてでも当てた跡かと思いましたが、他同時期の個体にも同様のものがみられました。ハンダ修正痕も所々みられます。キャビティ部分に345の表記がありました。通常ビブラート付きのモデルを指し示しますが、テールピース周辺にその痕跡は見受けられません。途中で仕様変更により出荷されたのかはわかりませんが現状の仕様に基づいて340としております。

ボディには所々ウェザーチェックがあり、ヴィンテージリッケンらしい現行にはない存在感を放っております。フロントPU左上にゴリゴリとアクセサリーを当てたようなキズがあります。ボディトップには大小打痕やスリキズが存在しており、ボディエッジ部分には塗装剥がれも見受けられます。ボディバックには道具としてしっかり使われてきた事を示すバックルキズがあり、塗装剥がれもあります。ネックヒール部分にはストラップを移設していた跡があります。ネック裏ローポジションを中心に塗装剥がれがみられ、ハイポジションのフレットサイド部分にも塗装剥がれがみられます。細かくいえばガサガサとした感触がありますが、ヴィンテージ系プレイヤーならいつもの事なので気にしないでください。ペグ交換時の元穴はそのままとなっており、トラスロッドカバーのネジ穴部分には経年変化と締め付けによりクラックがあります。ヘッド周りにも塗装剥がれや打痕等があります。ピックガード下のゴムが通常2枚ですが1枚となっております。ブリッジはかなりの劣化がありますが、各調整部分の動作は問題ありません。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドも動作も問題ありません。フレットには弦跡等は無く残りは5-6割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.0mm、1弦側で約1.5mmで調整されております。

全体的にはパーツ交換等ありますが、全体の雰囲気を壊すものはありません。『ジャキン』『ガツン』とした昨今の若いプレイヤーが求めるサウンドではありませんが、独特のテンション感と王道にはないトーンで、マーシャルのドライブサウンドとのマッチングは最高。フレットはリッケンらしい低さはありますが、ネック周りは良好なのもおすすめのポイントの一つです!3PUなルックスも最高で他では得られないヤッてる感が堪らない一本。
