The pickguard has fine feel picking scratches throughout. There are pea-sized reaction marks with solvent on the body top and upper left side of the front PU, and black deposits on the left side of the body top. There are scratches around the bridge from it's movement. The body top has weather checks in a fine overall feel, and is sufficiently dignified.
The binding around the body has been glued and repaired in various parts, but it does not look like it is falling apart as it often does. The binding on the right side of the back of the body is shrinking and there is a gap, but let's leave it as it is. The neck heel cap has been replaced with another material and color matched in a DIY style. The entire body back has been refinished and the back of the neck has been lightly over-lacquered. The side part of the body end, where the Bigsby was attached, has been slightly shifted and moved. The neck binding has been repaired like a puzzle in some places after the 12th fret. The binding on the 6th string side by the last fret is tattered as usual. The nuts and frets have been replaced. The mute mechanism works miraculously. Each pot is original with Allen Bradley's. The screw holes on the back panel inside when the back pad is removed have been reinforced with putty, as well as the screw holes on the body side.

The neck condition is fine, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned and adjusted in the direction to tighten. There are no string marks on the frets and about 70% of the frets are left. The current string height is about 2.0mm on the 6th string (12F) and about 1.5mm on the 1st string (12F).

There are some common binding repair marks and body back refinish, but the neck angle is good and there are no playability issues.
This is a simulated F-hole specification before the realistic open F-hole was changed in 1972. This is a type with one mute mechanism, a little different from the so-called George's type. Also, the front PU is a Super Tron specification, which is a little different as well. Nevertheless, the George-like look of this guitar will raise your spirits the moment you hold it in your arms! The sound is also dirty, just like a Gretsch, and this is one that young players should actively play!
