2019 Custom Shop-made ASAT Bass in Purple Marble Color with Loosened Maple Neck in stock!

The G&L brand was last founded by Leo Fender. This is a top grade Custom Shop model that shows great attention to detail in its coloring and materials.
The bass model is "ASAT Bass", a standard G&L model in TL shape. The body is made of alder, and the tone is characterized by a firmness straight from the royal road. The finish is "Purple Marble". The outer edge of the body is dark and bursting, which expresses a sense of luxury, specialness, and mysteriousness not found in the regular line, just like a Custom Shop model.
The greatest feature of this model is its wonderful neck. The quarter-sawn maple neck has AAA grade figured wood, and the rostered finish, which boasts outstanding strength and sound, gives it that special Custom Shop look. This alone is worth a lot to G&L fans! The nut width is 1.5" wide, the fingerboard surface is 12" R, the fret size is medium jumbo, and the neck shape is "#8 G&L Medium C" with an overall rounded feel.
The U is equipped with two MFD L-Series humbuckers, and the preamp is the familiar Tri-Tone system. It has a volume/treble bass cut, PU selector SW, series/parallel/tap switch SW, and passive/active/treble boost SW.

The body has wipe scratches, scuffs, and dings. There are scratches on the top surface of both PU covers where fingernails were hit when picking. There are scratches on the edge of the body end under the bridge on each string when the strings were changed. The back of the neck is generally shiny from use, and there are some fingernail marks and small dents scattered around the low position. There is also a ding on the lower left edge of the logo on the back of the head, the size of a grain of rice. The truss rod adjustment slot on the head has a slight wrench hit mark. There are a few small dents scattered on the low position of the fingerboard. All hardware is in relatively good condition, with only a few minor scuffs and scratches.

The neck is in good condition. The truss rod can be adjusted in the tightening or loosening direction, and is a little stiff in the tightening direction, but can still be turned and adjusted. There are no string marks on the frets and about 90% of the frets are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.5mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 2.0mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, there are some signs of use, but they are not so noticeable and in relatively clean condition. Not only the bewitching coloring, but also the adoption of a loin-studded maple neck that boasts not only a luxurious feel but also outstanding sound and strength, is truly a long-awaited spec for traditional G&L fans. This is the perfect upgrade from the regular line models, and is also ideal for those who want to "stand out on stage! This is the perfect choice for those who want to "stand out on stage!
