ORVILLE 1990s Les Paul Collection Series, LPS-75 Les Paul Standard, Color:CS(Cherry Sunburst), S#:K 098856(Sticker Type)

This is a made in Japan Orville that was a direct Gibson brand.
The serial number is K098856 (Sticker Type), so it was manufactured by Terada Gakki, which has been involved in OEM production of various brands of guitars, and it might be in the late 1980s or early 1990s. This LPS-75 has the form and feel of the Gibson USA Les Paul Standard of the time, but with the quality of MIJ.

The solder marks on the control assembly do not show any signs of being disturbed or tampered with, but there are a few extra solder marks on the back of the bridge PU tone control pot!
Also, the pickups are mounted as open type without covers, but there are no solder marks on the base plate of the PU that were covered, so this unit may be default open style. So the pickups, control assembly, hardware and parts may be in original condition!

The surface of the finish has some age-related irregularities, but that's just too cool!
Maybe there was a slight error in the formulation or mixing of the sanding sealer or topcoat paint, or an error in the spray gun spray adjustment, which may have surfaced as bubbles over time! But the texture is just too cool to resist! The finish color has not faded and retains its vivid color and luster! So you may be able to imagine two brand new LP-STDs provided to Mr. S (GN'R) by Company G in the late 1980s! (I heard that the one after the riff was named Jessica)

As for the main external condition, it has been over 35 years since it was manufactured, so there are normal traces of playing use that accompany normal playing!
The headstock topcoat has some white discoloration and peeling damage, the corners of the headstock tip have some paint damage, the neck grip has some shallow scratches, the body back has some gentle buckle marks, and the body side surfaces and edges have noticeable larger damage and dings, There is also some topcoat damage near the controls with peeling off, and a few bodytop bruises.
Most of these marks are mainly damage that you would expect to find on an excellent vintage guitar, but there are no problems with the functionality or mechanism of the guitar, and it feels clean!

The guitar has been inspected at our repair center to check the condition of the main parts and to make any necessary adjustments, as well as to inspect other parts of the guitar and make any necessary adjustments.

Neck condition is presently fine.
Truss rod has room to spare.
80-70% frets remaining.
String height on the 12th fret: 6th string side: approx. 2.0mm, 1st string side: approx. 1.5mm
