Bolt-on BB800 is in stock!

This is a bolt-on BB made in the late 70's and early 80's. It is one of Yamaha's representative basses "Broad Bass" still in production.
Alder body and maple neck. Fingerboard surface is rosewood. The scale is 34" long scale and the nut width is about 43mm.

The body has wipe scratches, scuffs, dings, and line scratches. The pickguard has a cloudy look and a picking scratch centered on the upper right side of the PU. The body top is dotted with rice grain sized dents, although not many. The body sides have numerous scratches and dings, mainly on the bottom. The back of the body has some bumps and buckle scratches in the center, and overall there are scratches, line scratches, and large and small dings. The back of the neck has some bumps, scratches, and dings, and the same is true around the head. There are some scratches and dings on the back of the neck, and the same applies to the head area.

The truss rod can be adjusted in the direction of tightening or loosening, and can still be adjusted by turning it slightly in the direction of tightening. There are no string marks on the frets and about 50-60% of the frets are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.5mm on the 12F 4th string side and about 2.0mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, there are some signs of use commensurate with the age of the instrument, but they are natural and not too uncomfortable. The neck condition is also fine, with no major chattering. When I asked my senior about the neck, he replied, "It's fine because it's like this! What do you want with an old one? I was strangely convinced. After replacing the nut and adjusting the nut, there is no problem with the playability of the instrument, so you can rest assured that it will be buzzing with sound!

ボルトオン仕様のBB800入荷!

70年代後半から80年代前半に作成された、ボルトオン仕様のBB。今も生産されるヤマハを代表するベース『Broad Bass』です。
ボディはアルダー、ネックはメイプル。指板面はローズウッド。スケールは34インチのロングスケール、ナット幅は約43mmです入荷時にナットを交換しております。PUデイトは昭和53年でした。

ボディには拭きキズ、スリキズ、打痕、線キズがあります。ピックガードには、PU右上中心に曇った感じでピックングキズがあります。ボディトップには多くはないものの米粒大の打痕が点在しております。ボディサイドには下部を中心にスリキズや打痕が多数あります。ボディバックには中央にはゴツゴツとバックルキズがあり、全体的にスリキズ・線キズ・大小打痕があります。ネック裏には全体的にゴツゴツと当てキズ・打痕があり、ヘッド周りも同様です。各ハードウェアにはクスミはあるものの目立つ使用感はありません。

ネックコンディションは1弦側でハイ起きがみられ、トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能で、締める方向にまだ少し回せ調整可能です。フレットには弦跡等は無く残りは5-6割程です。現状弦高は12F4弦側で約2.5mm、1弦側で約2.0mmで調整されております。

全体的には年式相応の使用感がありますが自然な感じで違和感は少ないです。ネックコンディションも現状大きなビリつきもなく問題ありません。『ネックがちょっと心配で・・・』と先輩に相談したら『こうゆうものだから大丈夫!』『昔のものに君は何を求めてるんだ!』と言われ妙に納得。ナット交換やすり合わせをおこない現状問題なくプレイアビリティも確保されておりブンブンと鳴ってくれますのでご安心下さい!
