Gibson Custom's 1968 Les Paul Custom JS Authentic made in 2004 is now in stock!
This model is believed to be a John Sykes Les Paul Custom, ordered by Gibson's distributor at the time, Yamano Gakki. We have no documents to confirm this model, so we cannot be sure. Please understand.
This Les Paul Custom has a mirror pickguard, mirror switch plate, metal escutcheon, brass nut, and other custom features that give it a John Sykes image, and with a solid weight of 4.68 kg, this guitar is a perfect match for HR/HM players.

The neck condition is currently fine. The truss rod has room in both directions.
Originally the Authentic, the previous series of VOS, it has the impression of having been used well for its age. There are dents and scratches scattered throughout.
There are some distortions around the head inlay and binding.
There is a crack on the pickguard screw that seems to be caused by being tightened too hard.

There is enough room for truss rod.
About 80% frets remaining.
String height on 12F 6th string side: approx. 2.0mm, 1st string side: approx. 1.5mm

こちらのモデルは当時のGibson代理店である山野楽器によってオーダーされた、ジョン・サイクス仕様のレスポールカスタムかと思われます。仕様から判断していますが確証付ける書類がないため断定はできません。ご了承くださいませ。
ミラーピックガード、ミラースイッチプレート、メタルエスカッション、ブラスナットなど、ジョン・サイクスをイメージ付けるカスタムが施され、4.68kgというかなりしっかりとした重量と合わせてHR/HMにマッチする一本となっています。

ネックコンディションは現状問題ありません。トラスロッドは両方向に余裕があります。
元々VOSの前シリーズであるAuthenticですが、年式相応にしっかりと使い込まれた印象があります。打痕や擦り傷が点在しています。
ヘッド部のインレイ、バインディング周りに歪みがあります。
ピックガードのネジ部で強く締めこまれたことによるようなヒビがあります。
