The serial number indicates that it was made in 1979. The official model name is unknown as the PU has been replaced, but it is expected to be around EG900S, EG800S, or EG700S based on its specifications. Maple top and mahogany back (pancake style), maple 3pcs neck (overall shape is thin for LP type), ebony fingerboard, EMG 85 on the neck side, 81 on the bridge side, so called ZW specification, and it has a kill switch as an extra. The pegs have been replaced with Spurzel, and the original holes are still there. The bridge and tailpiece, selector knob, and control knob have also been replaced. The pickguard is missing, and there is a mark on the top of the body back where the strap pin position was changed and filled in. Also, the strap pin has been replaced with a Schaller locking type.

There are scratches, scuffs, line scratches, and dents on the body. There are picking scratches on the right side of both PUs with a cloudy look. The outer circumference of the body top is dotted with scratches, and the lower part of the body is dotted with large and small dents. The sides of the body have large and small dings and scratches, mainly on the bottom and near the jack. The back of the body has some scratches and dings. The back of the neck has some small dents and scratches, but they do not affect the playability of the instrument. There is a small scratch on the outer edge of the head on the 6th string side. All hardware is gold, so there is some chipping and smudging.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned to tighten and adjust. There are no string marks on the frets and about 70% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, there are some dents and scratches commensurate with its age, but the neck area is still in great shape! The neck is still in good shape. This is one of our recommendations!

1979年日本製、EMG仕様にアップグレードされたEG入荷!

シリアルナンバーから79年製とわかります。正式なモデル名はPUが交換されており不明ですが、その仕様からEG900S、EG800S、EG700S辺りと予想されます。メイプルトップ＆マホガニーバック(パンケーキ風)、メイプル3pcsネック(全体的にLPタイプにしては薄めのシェイプ)、指板はエボニーです。PUはネック側がEMGの85、ブリッジ側が81といわゆるZW仕様になっており、おまけにキルスイッチを搭載しております。ペグはスパーゼルに交換されており元穴はそのまま、ブリッジ＆テールピース、セレクターノブ、コントロールノブも交換されております。ピックガードは欠品、ボディバック上部にはストラップピン位置を変更していて埋めた跡があります。またストラップピンがシャーラーのロックタイプに交換されております。

ボディには拭きキズ、スリキズ、線キズ、打痕があります。両PU右側には曇った感じでピッキングキズがあります。ボディトップ外周部分にはスリキズが点在しており、下部には大小打痕が点在しております。ボディサイドには下部やジャック付近を中心に大小打痕やスリキズがあります。ボディバックには全体的に大小打痕やスリキズ、線キズ、塗装痩せ等あります。ネック裏には小さな打痕や爪先状の当てキズやスリキズ等ありますがプレイに大きく影響するものでもありません。ヘッド外周部分には小さな当てキズが6弦側にあります。各ハードウェアはゴールドの為メッキ落ちやクスミがあります。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能で、締める方向にまだ回せ調整可能です。フレットには弦跡等は無く残りは7割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.0mm、1弦側で約1.5mmで調整されております。

全体的には打痕やスリキズ等年式相応にありますが、ネック周りはまだまだ現役!お手頃なEMG搭載のLPを探そうとなると、なかなかなく、メイプル3pcsにパンケーキ風のボディバックの70sスタイルとなるとあまりありませんよね。ZWファンには待望の仕様ともいえ、ハイクオリティな日本製となるとお買い得ではないでしょうか?おすすめの一本です!
