Made in 1982, the SG-1000 features a set neck!

Although it is often considered a low-priced model of the SG-2000, which features a through neck, the SG-1000 features a set neck that was developed based on a different concept to begin with.
The SG-1000 features a maple top and mahogany back body, and a set neck made of mahogany, maple, and mahogany. The scale is 628mm, the neck shape is a little thicker, and the fingerboard surface is ebony. The nut width is about 42.8mm in actual measurement. The frets & nut have been replaced.
The front PU is an original semi-open OPG-1, and the rear position has been replaced with a DiMaggio. It seems to be a Super Distortion from its looks and its DC resistance value. Its escutcheon has also been replaced accordingly. The rear Vol pot has been replaced with a recent CTS, and the capacitor has been replaced with a DEL RITMO Black candy 0.022uF capacitor. Both Push-Push tone pots for bi-sound have been replaced and are in good working order.

The body has scratches, scuffs, line scratches, dents, and peeling paint. The top of the body has scratches, lines, and small dents, although there are no noticeable signs of use. There is some whitish from the back of the neck to the sides and back of the body. Unlike the relatively clean top, the sides and back have dents and scratches, showing signs of use. The back of the neck also has dents and scratches mainly in the low position. The back of the head has peeling paint, and the top of the head is also cloudy. All hardware is gold, so some of the plating has fallen off or deteriorated.

The neck condition is fine, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned and adjusted in the direction to tighten. The truss rod nut has a few washers. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and about 80% of the frets are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 6th string (12F) and about 1.5mm on the 1st string (12F).

Overall, there are some signs of use on the sides and back of the body, and the PU has been replaced, but there is little damage on the top, which is the face of the instrument. The neck has been replaced with a new fretboard, so it is a good choice for players.

スルーネックが特徴のSG-2000の廉価モデルと思われがちですが、そもそも開発コンセプトが違うセットネックが特徴のSG-1000。
メイプルトップ&マホガニーバックボディ、ネックはマホガニー&メイプル&マホガニーをセットネックしてます。スケールは628mm、ネックシェイプは少し太さを感じさせる内容で、指板面はエボニーです。ナット幅は実測値で約42.8mmです。フレット&ナットは交換されております。
フロントPUはセミオープンタイプのオリジナルのOPG-1で、リアポジションはディマジオに交換されております。ルックスやその直流抵抗値からSuper Distortionと思われます。またそれに合わせてそのエスカッションも交換。リアVolポットは近年製のCTSに交換されており、キャパシターもDEL RITMO Black candy 0.022uFに交換されております。バイサウンド用Push-Pushの各トーンポットも両方共に交換されており動作は良好です。

ボディには拭きキズ、スリキズ、線キズ、打痕、塗装剥がれがあります。ボディトップ全体的に目立つ使用感はないもののスリキズ、線キズ、小さな打痕があります。ネック裏からボディサイド&バックには白濁があります。サイド&バックは比較的キレイなトップと違い、打痕やスリキズがあり使用感を感じさせます。ネックうらもローポジションを中心に打痕や当てキズがあります。ヘッド裏先端部分には塗装剥がれがあり、ヘッドトップにも白濁があります。各ハードウェアはゴールドのためメッキ落ちや劣化があります。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能で、締める方向にまだまだ回せ調整可能です。トラスロッドナットには数枚のワッシャーが噛ましております。フレットには目立つ弦痕等はなく、残り8割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.0mm、1弦側で約1.5mmで調整されております。

全体的にはボディサイド&バックに使用感があり、PU交換がありますが顔であるトップにはダメージは少なめ。またフレット交換もありネック周りはしっかりしているのでプレイヤーにはありがたい一本といえます。
