We are pleased to announce the arrival of the Eric Johnson Stratocaster (EJ ST) from the Fender USA Artist Guitar Series.
The first year of the EJ ST release seems to be around 2005... The body has "OCT 10 2005" stamped on the neck pocket, but according to the serial number, this guitar was manufactured in 2007 (this may be one of the early models).
The neck grip is in relatively clean condition, although there are some toe marks on the fretboard from the first to third fingerboard when the strings were pressed. The hardware has some scratches and some rust on the strap buttons, but considering the age of the guitar, it appears to be in clean condition. The condition of the vintage guitar is described as excellent or better, but less than near mint and clean with proper cleaning.
The frets have been filed (rubbed together and molded) by a professional repairman and appear to be almost unplayed.

Body: Lightweight 2-ply alder with large, smooth, deep contours and elbow cut (1957ST style)
Neck: Slightly sharper shaped soft V-grip (1957ST style) quarter-sawn 1-piece maple neck, 12" (approx. 305R) fingerboard radius, medium jumbo frets with G company-like size
Finish: Gloss NC lacquer
Bridge unit: American vintage synchronized tremolo, but "EJ" is engraved on the inertia block... The inertia block is a special spec that EJ is particular about. The surface of the block is finished in silver, and the installation area with the tremolo base plate is unpainted, and the string recess where the ball ends of the strings fit.
Tuners (pegs): Staggered style peg posts are installed, so there is no need for string guides, which can be a cause of concern when playing tremolo.
Pickups: Special Boist Eric Johnson single coil
Controls: Master volume, neck PU tone, bridge PU tone (no middle PU tone), 5-way lever switch

Neck Condition: Currently in good condition.

フェンダーUSA製アーティストギターシリーズのエリックジョンソンストラトキャスター(EJ ST)が入荷いたしました。
EJ ST発売の初年度は2005年頃らしいです... ボディのネックポケットに「OCT 10 2005」とスタンプされていますが、この個体の製造時期をシリアルナンバーからオフィシャル照合しますと2007年製になります(初期製造と捉えれる個体なのかもしれません)。
経年期間は18年目を迎える個体なので、本体の全域に打ちキズやスリキズが点在していますが、ネックグリップは比較的きれいなコンディションです(1F-3Fの指板面に押弦時の爪先痕が点在しています)。また、ハードウェア類にクスミ発生やストラップボタンにメッキ劣化(錆)の発生してますが、経年期間を考慮いたしますと清潔なコンディションに整えられているかと感じられます。なので、ビンテージギターのコンディション表記だとエクセレント以上でニアミント未満で適切な清掃が施された清潔なコンディションかと。
また、フレットはプロリペアのファイリング作業(擦り合わせ成型作業)が施工された後はほぼほぼ未プレイかと感じられますよ。
