We’ve just received a pristine 2017 Gibson J-45 Standard!

A 2017 Gibson J-45 Standard has arrived.
The finish color is the classic, reliable Vintage Sunburst (VS).
It comes standard with electro-acoustic (EA) specifications.
The standard pickup is the Element VTC by L.R. Backs, an active under-saddle pickup.
Although the design of the control panel differs from current models, the control dials are Volume and Tone, just like on current models.

Overall Condition
Although this instrument is now in its ninth year, the finish retains a beautiful luster.
While there are various scratches—such as scuff marks and impact marks—that come with age, as well as signs of tarnish and plating deterioration on the metal parts (tuning machines and pegs), the guitar is in excellent condition and looks very clean.
Due to the dark brown sunburst finish, it is inevitable that minor imperfections from the factory buffing process (which creates a mirror-like finish) and minor polishing marks from maintenance will be more noticeable.
There are scattered dents on the top of the body, but these are not critical damage; even the largest ones are less than 3 millimeters in diameter, so they fall within an acceptable range.
These are the kinds of scratches that tend to appear quickly with regular, serious playing, so they may not bother a generous player who is focused on enjoying their music to the fullest.
Although there are a few scattered scratches, this is a clean and beautiful instrument. With an additional strap button on the neck heel and all pickups functioning properly, I can’t help but feel this is an excellent instrument ready to hit the stage right away.
