USED Paul Reed Smith (PRS) / Custom 24-08 Normal Top Fire Red Burst 2022 [10]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a lightly used Custom 24-08 in Fire Red Burst, made in 2022!

The Custom 24-08 features a 3-way selector on the regular Custom 24, and each PU can be coil-tapped individually to output 8 different sounds.

The body top is a wonderful maple with a normal top, but with a slender figured figured covering the whole body with shimmer and swell. The body back and neck are made of mahogany, and the specs allow you to enjoy the royal road of PRS. The color is "Fire Red Burst," a popular red color in recent years. The neck shape is "Pattern Thin," which is thinner than the current neck shape and provides high playability in the high position. The bridge is the same as the current "Gen III" with a slit in the lower part of the saddle. The pickups are "85/15".

There are only minor scratches on the body. Hardware is in good condition with no noticeable use or damage.

The neck condition is fine, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and about 90% of the frets are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, it is in good condition with little signs of use, and can be recommended for those who are considering a new one. The basic specs are the royal PRS specs, perfect for a "first PRS." The 24-08 mini-switch was also used on Paul`s Guitar and 408, and features more sound variation than the usual 5-way Custom 24. Also, when the coil tap is applied, it does not become floppy at once like past PRS, but it retains a firm fatness, which is also a good impression. The front PU is reversed unlike the theory, which is one of the points not to be missed. The shape and type of PU, peg buttons, etc. are different from the current 24-08. Also, the lacquer finish is one of the best things about this model!
