Other: We have received a 1998 Nashville 1955 Custom Reissue Western Model G6120W-1955. It appears to have been manufactured between 1997 and 1999. At the time of its release, it was supposedly categorized as a USA Custom Shop-style limited edition...(Rumors at the time suggested that the unfinished bodies, which had been machined by Terada Gakki in Japan, were shipped to a location in the USA for finishing and final assembly... and so on. Note: There are various theories.) The truss rod cover features an engraved inscription reading "1955 NASHVILLE WESTERN | CUSTOM USA." The fingerboard is made of glossy black ebony. The main wiring consists of vintage-style single-core shielded wire with CTS pots, but the pickup selector toggle switch and output jack were originally domestic parts. (The original output jack was in such poor condition that it needed to be replaced, so it has now been swapped out for a Switchcraft unit.The rest may be in virgin solder condition.) Modifications: Tuners: Sperzel from around the 2000s; String nut: Custom-machined brass; Strap buttons: Schaller Security Lock (strap side is missing); Pickguard: Clear acrylic. Parts that may have been replaced: 1. Bridge base (The original may have been steel... It is now a wooden base that matches the curve of the body top, with short, small metal pins protruding from it.) 2. Bridge (The original appears to have been a metal bridge as well, but its appearance feels somewhat dated.) 3. Bigsby unit (It is a type equivalent to the original specifications, but the texture feels somewhat dated.) 4. The included hard case may not be an original accessory from that era. "Gretsch" is printed in small silver letters on the lid. Additionally, the interior lining uses a wine-red fabric.(This case gives off a late-70s to early-80s vibe.) While there are signs of wear from playing (various scratches and dents, as well as deterioration of the plating on screws and metal parts) and some cracking of the finish (at wood joints and near the bindings), professional repairs have been performed, including refretting and a jack replacement (Switchcraft).This is not a heavily modified instrument; rather, it feels like a practical, enthusiast-grade modification has been applied to a guitar in excellent overall condition, making it ready to play right out of the box.

* As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, or other imperfections that are difficult to capture in photos or not listed here. Please be aware of this in advance.

* Any measurements listed for the truss rod, remaining fret length, or string height were taken by our staff during setup. These measurements are subject to change due to environmental factors such as climate and humidity.
These measurements are intended as a reference at the time of purchase; we cannot guarantee that the measurements will be exactly the same when the item arrives at your location.

* This item is a one-of-a-kind product currently listed simultaneously on multiple platforms, including our in-store display. We strive to remove product listings promptly upon sale, but updates may not always be in real time.
We sincerely apologize if the item happens to be sold out after you place your order, and we ask for your understanding in such cases.
