A 1969 Mustang in ideal player's condition!

A 1969 Mustang has just arrived.
The color is Competition Orange, featuring a racing stripe design.
Matching heads were exclusive to models built between 1969 and 1970.
The CBS logo decal is a white-letter decal created exclusively for the Competition Mustang with a matching headstock.
Based on the wood grain visible in the neck pocket, the body material is believed to be alder.
Additionally, the body features a contoured profile.
When it comes to body materials, it seems many Mustang players prefer the era when Fender used its standard materials—alder and basswood—rather than the periods when poplar or mahogany were used.
Perhaps this is because it allows them to more easily experience the familiar Fender sound.

Overall Condition
This instrument is now in its 57th year since manufacture.
Despite the cracks and damage to the finish, which lend it a sense of character, the guitar is in pristine condition and has reached the realm of a beautiful vintage instrument.
There are a few minor cigarette burns on the headstock, but these may be cultural badges of honor symbolizing the music scenes of the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s.
Although the torque of the original F-key tuners varies due to age-related wear, the guitar can still be tuned.
The frets have been replaced and a new nut has been installed; the controls are functioning well, so it’s in “player’s condition” and ready to go.
Furthermore, this guitar retains many of its original parts—including the pickups, capacitors, dynamic vibrato, Mustang bridge, tremolo arm, and tall nylon spacer string guides—without any outlandish modifications.
Its rugged, battle-hardened appearance—as if it had been played actively for many years—is the kind of majestic presence that makes you want to call it a “veteran warrior” or a “battle-hardened hero.”
