A limited-edition Journeyman Relic JB from the Custom Shop, made in recent years, has arrived!

We have received a 2025 Fender Custom Shop Limited Custom Jazz Bass.
The finish is Journeyman Relic with a Painted Head Cap (PHC) and matching headstock color, in Aged Black.
The body, metal parts, and plastic parts all feature a relic finish. Please note that we cannot determine whether any additional damage has occurred due to playing, so we appreciate your understanding.
There is no noticeable wear on the frets. Additionally, there are no signs of wear, so it may not have been played extensively.
The finish on the neck grip has been crafted to look as if it has been worn down by friction from playing, but there are no signs of heavy wear or darkening from playing, so it appears to be unplayed.

Finally... What stands out is the rugged finish, which contrasts sharply with the elegant appearance of the Journeyman Relic finish.
However, it’s not a frenzied, damaged finish; rather, it feels like a charming instrument with a mature presence.
I can’t help but feel that this instrument more than qualifies to be called a “Limited Custom.”
