For customers residing in Japan
We’ve just received a Fujigen-made Ibanez SI-800M from around 1992!

Based on the serial number “F246798,” we’ve received an Ibanez guitar that we believe was manufactured by Fujigen in Japan in 1992.
It was difficult to find this specific model in catalogs from around the 1990s.
So, while this is just speculation, it may have been an original model developed by a major musical instrument retailer that was a key part of their lineup at the time.
Also, there’s a theory that this S-series model later evolved into the JS Signature model... though opinions vary.

Overall Condition
This instrument is now entering its 34th year.
As expected, various scratches, finish damage, and deterioration of the plating on the metal parts have occurred over time, so please carefully review the photos before considering a purchase.
There are about four impact marks on the neck grip, but they do not appear to be significant enough to interfere with playing.
The control knobs may have been replaced.
The tremolo arm may not be the original part.
The tremolo backplate is missing.
Additionally, due to the shallow headstock angle and the combination of Gotoh tuners and the Magnum Lock system, it can be difficult to achieve proper string tension between the nut and the tuners.
Buzzing may occur when playing open strings with strong picking, so installing a tension bar for the double-lock tremolo unit or making similar modifications might help alleviate this issue.
Considering its age, there are no apparent issues with the control system’s operation, so it’s in “player’s condition” and fully suitable for regular playing.
(The shoulder strap for the included soft case is missing.)
