"B&G Guitars" is a custom guitar brand whose brand concept is centered on refining pre-war designs.
While their top-of-the-line handmade models are made in Israel, this is an affordable model manufactured in China.

The body is made of African mahogany, and it is a 13-inch semi-hollow model featuring a generously sized center block. This is the single-cutaway model. The top is made of solid figured maple, exuding a luxurious feel, as evident from its natural binding.The slotted-headstock neck is made of mahogany with a 24 3/4-inch scale length. The fingerboard is Mexican Royal Ebony (Katalox) with a 12-inch radius. The nut width is 42.8mm, and the neck profile is a Soft V, giving the overall neck a nice, substantial feel.

It features original P90-style pickups. The pickups are likely different from those found on top-of-the-line models, as this is a model with a label commonly seen on Chinese-made instruments. This makes it a good candidate for future electronics upgrades. The jack was defective upon arrival and has been replaced.

There are fine picking scratches on the right side between the two pickups. Additionally, there are scattered minor impact marks on the top of the body, but they are only visible when held up to the light. The lower left side of the body has some linear scratches and scuffs. The back of the body has minor scuffs and dents in places, but there are no noticeable buckle marks or similar damage.There is an area on the neck joint that appears to be peeling paint, but it does not feel rough to the touch, so it is not an issue. All parts show minor discoloration and signs of use.

The neck is in good condition; there are no string marks on the frets, nor any noticeable buzzing. Approximately 80% of the frets remain. The truss rod functions well and is adjustable. The current string action is set to approximately 2.0 mm on the 6th string at the 12th fret and approximately 1.5 mm on the 1st string.

Overall, there are no noticeable signs of wear, and it is in excellent condition. Although it features a slotted headstock, the tailpiece position provides exquisite tension, resulting in crisp harmonics that come through clearly—a truly impressive finish. Just as it looks, this is the perfect guitar for a bluesy playing style!
