Based on Killer’s flagship KG-Exploder, this BIB model features a unified black finish from the body and neck to the hardware. It features an ebony fingerboard—a departure from the standard model—giving it a bold, aggressive look.
It combines a 3-piece maple body with a U-shaped hard maple neck, utilizing a semi-deep insert joint where the neck is deeply inserted into the body and secured at five points. This design delivers excellent response and stable sustain.
It is equipped with Seymour Duncan AHB-1n/AHB-1b Blackout pickups. These offer tight bass response that retains definition even at high gain, along with a sharp attack, delivering powerful performance from heavy riffs to technical lead playing. The control layout is simple, consisting only of a master volume knob and a pickup selector.
The bridge features a floating Floyd Rose Thousand system that also supports arm-up play. A truss rod is located at the neck end, ensuring ease of maintenance.
Although the metal parts show some signs of wear, such as tarnish and rust, the guitar has been cleaned and set up and is in good condition.
This older-model BIB, featuring an ebony fingerboard and Blackouts, is no longer in production and offers a unique appeal distinct from the current KG-Exploder II BIB. Don’t miss this opportunity to purchase it!
