Based on the FL Dreadnought—which produces a powerful tone from its large body—this is an electro-acoustic guitar from the 2 Series featuring a cutaway for easy access to the higher frets.
The body is an all-solid construction featuring a solid Bunya top and solid Australian blackwood sides and back. Paired with a Queensland maple neck, it delivers the distinctive Cole Clark balance—a response with clear definition and rich mid-to-low frequencies.
The electronics feature a proprietary 3-Way Pickup System that combines a piezo pickup under the saddle, a face sensor that captures the vibration of the top, and a condenser microphone. The natural, three-dimensional line sound produced by these sensors is ideal not only for singing while playing but also for fingerstyle and percussive performances that incorporate body tapping.
The neck, with a 25.5-inch scale and a 44mm nut width, accommodates a wide range of playing styles, from chord strumming to delicate fingerstyle. The cutaway design also ensures excellent playability.
While it shows signs of age—such as slight tarnish on the metal parts and minor dents on the body—it has been cleaned and set up, leaving it in pristine condition.
