Solid Sitka spruce with A.R.E. on the surface. A matured sound as if it has been played for many years.

The original Yamaha FG head shape is decorated with a tuning fork logo. The truss rod cover is engraved with "Since 1966", which indicates the origin of Yamaha guitars.

<Newly developed scalloped bracing

The scalloped bracing used in the FG/FS#800 series has been improved through a combination of pseudo prototyping using the latest acoustic analysis simulation technology and prototyping by woodworkers. The new scalloped bracing has been optimized to match the characteristics of the wood itself and the FG and FS models, and has realized further expansion of the low frequency range.

The newly developed Atmosfeel 3-way pickup system consists of three different pickups that reliably capture each frequency range: a piezo sensor in the under-saddle captures the mid-low range, a microphone in the preamp captures the low range, and a proprietary, extremely thin contact sensor captures the high range. By adding a contact sensor made of thin and durable piezoelectric synthetic paper inside (near the back of the bridge), we were able to reproduce the cohesiveness of string vibrations coming out of the soundhole, the lingering sound of each string, the touch feeling when fingering, and the airy and delicate sound brought by the overtone components in the upper register that conventional pickups could not pick up. and delicate sounds brought about by overtone components in the high frequency range. The sound of an acoustic guitar is reproduced as it is when played live on the line.

＜Simple and easy-to-use controller

The Atmosfeel's controller is very simple to operate, allowing you to mix and match pickups and create sounds with ease. The master volume knob is used to adjust subtle tonal expression, and the mic blend knob adds a boxy feel. The Bass EQ controller allows you to adjust the center frequency range to suit your use case, such as a guitarist who needs to cut low frequencies in a band formation or a fingerstyle player who needs low frequency support to create a secure sound.
