Named after blues legend B.B. King, the signature model "Lucille" incorporates unique specifications based on the ES-355.
The laminate-structured body, 3-piece maple neck, and rich-lite fingerboard combine to create a highly stable configuration that is practical and suitable for stage use. The closed design with no f-holes on the top is a feedback countermeasure at his request and provides a stable sound from clean to drive.
Two mesh wire shield type humbuckers with PATENT NUMBER engraved (PAT NO. 2,737,842) are equipped on the pickups. The tone has a core in the midrange and is suitable for blues.
A 6-position varitone switch and stereo/mono switchable outputs allow for a variety of tone creation. The tailpiece with fine tuners provides tuning stability, which is also a major practical point.
The multi-layered binding, gold parts, diamond split inlays, and other high-end features make this a highly finished instrument that transcends the boundaries of a signature model.
Lacks pickguard.
Rear escutcheon has been replaced due to damage. Also, broken screws have been corrected.
There are large greenish-blue and rust on the pickup. Other metal parts are rusted and dull.
