USED Gibson Custom Shop / 1960 Hummingbird Fixed Bridge Heritage Cherry Sunburst [11]

This is a 1960 reissue model of the "Hummingbird", the gold standard of the square-shouldered dreadnought.
The heat-treated Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides and back give the instrument a warm and inviting sound.
Traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing construction is used for both deep lows and contoured mids and highs. The 24.75" scale and round-shaped neck, just like vintage models, provide natural response from chord work to fingerpicking.
The bridge is a "Fixed Bridge" specification. The bridge is a "Fixed Bridge" design, which provides a strong ground feel under the saddle, rich body tone and sustain. Ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer is used for the finish, and the V.O.S. (Vintage Original Specs) finish gives the guitar a subdued appearance reminiscent of its age.
The beautifully gradated Heritage Cherry Sunburst color and the traditional Hummingbird pickguard are impressive. This is a gem that combines the full Gibson-like sound and high quality looks.
The back bracing was peeled off in two places, so the adhesion was corrected at our repair center.
There are some scratches and dents, but there are no noticeable damages.
The neck is in good playing condition with no noticeable abnormalities.
