USED G&L / ASAT BASS Natural [11]

The ASAT Bass strongly reflects the design philosophy of Leo Fender's later years.
The Telecaster-shaped body is equipped with G&L's original MFD pickups, which produce a wider-range and more powerful sound than it looks.
The neck joint uses G&L's traditional **3-bolt neck joint (micro-tilt mechanism)**. Unlike Fender's 3-bolt neck joints of the 70's, the G&L neck joints are precisely designed and built for stability.
Controls are in the same vein as the L-2000. In addition to master volume, treble, and bass, it has a pickup selector, series/parallel switching, and preamp selector (treble boost/active/passive).
The extremely versatile switching allows for a wide range of tones, from thick, pushy sounds to clear, crisp tones.
The sound is characterized by the high-output and well-defined tone typical of MFD pickups, and has the fatness of a passive bass as well as rock and alternative sounds. The neck joint is very strong and the bolt on the upper right side of the neck joint is very tight.
The bolt on the upper right side of the neck joint has been tightened so much that it is difficult to safely remove the bolt, so we are unable to check the neck date or neck pocket stamp. The rod adjustment can be done from the head side without any problem.
There are some small paint cracks and a few scratches, but the guitar is in relatively clean condition with little signs of use.
The neck is in good playing condition with no noticeable abnormalities.
