The Fender Japan TL62B-70 is a vintage reissue model based on the 1962 Telecaster Custom and boasts a level of perfection only possible with Japanese manufacturing. The double binding on the front and back of the body adds elegance to the ruggedness of the Telecaster and makes it stand out on stage.
The combination of basswood body and rosewood fingerboard produces an edgy Telecaster-like tone with some warmth.
The careful neck finish and stable playability characteristic of the Fujigen period are also appealing, making it easy to stress even after long hours of playing. This model is also recommended for players who enjoy vintage taste and want a practical guitar.
Rear pickup has been replaced (model unknown), pots are CTS, capacitor is Montreux/Retrovibe Oil Capacitor 0.1uF 160VDC, volume has a high pass filter capacitor and resistor, switch is OAK/51992, and the guitar is equipped with a new guitar box. The electrical system has been modified.
The neck is slightly twisted and the low frets are slightly inverted.
The neck has been set up and is sound tight, and there is a slight buzz, but it is not noticeable with an amp.
