The Guv'nor" is a UK-made reissue version that faithfully reproduces the original 1988 model.
This is the current UK-made model, also known as the "V2", and is a reissue of the so-called "Big Black Box" type, which recreates in detail the chassis design, circuit configuration, and controls of the original model. The sound quality is excellent.
It features Marshall's characteristic mid-range push and tight distortion. It has the characteristics of crunch, overdrive, and sustain for lead. The 3-band EQ for Bass, Middle, and Treble allows you to flexibly create a sound that matches your amp and guitar. This reissue series is manufactured at the original factory in England, so you can be assured of its quality.
There are some scratches, stains, and other signs of use, but there are no problems with operation.
