Japan Vintage made in 1974.
High spec with solid top and back, mid to high end model of Showa S.Yairi. Traditional dreadnought style with rosewood side & back on spruce top.
The horizontal logo on the rounded head plate is a classic design unique to 70's S.Yairi.
The back material is a three-piece construction with a strong sense of presence, giving a strong vintage feel to the exterior.
The bridge is softly shaped with no edges, and the careful finishing can be seen everywhere, which is typical of the domestic guitars of the time.
The solid box tone, deep rosewood-like bass, and comfortable midrange are suitable for a wide range of guitar styles from strokes to finger picking.
The natural sound that can only come from an instrument that has been played for many years is also appealing.
There are weather checks on the top of the body.
There are scratches and dents throughout, and the instrument shows signs of use.
The neck has a reverse warp on the 6th string side and a forward warp on the 1st string side. The frets have been fretted and are currently in good playing condition.
