Aria’s solid-wood bass, which brings the playing feel and expressiveness of an upright bass to the stage.
Designed as an electric upright bass, this model is positioned as a high-end variant within the series that places a greater emphasis on acoustic resonance.
By adopting a hollow-body solid-wood design, it achieves a sound character that allows you to fully appreciate the nuances and airiness of the natural acoustic tone.
In addition to individual magnet pickups for each string, it features a piezo pickup.
Thanks to a control layout that allows these to be mixed, it covers a wide range of sounds—from the natural tone characteristic of an acoustic bass to a well-defined, more electric-sounding tone.
It is designed to be easy to use in live and recording settings where an amplifier or PA system is used.
The scale and playing posture conform to those of an upright bass, providing a very authentic playing experience when playing while standing.
At the same time, it is more maneuverable than a fully acoustic double bass, making it easy to transport and set up—another attractive feature.
The endpin mounting screw is slightly tight.
There is switching noise in the piezo/magnet switch.
Wood cracks were observed around the truss rod head, so they were repaired by injecting Titebond adhesive and staining the area.
Overall, there are scratches, dents, and rust on the metal parts, indicating signs of use.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
