Featuring an ash body and maple neck, this instrument delivers the hard, focused sound characteristic of the late 1970s. It boasts a solid midrange presence and the classic Precision Bass tone that makes a strong statement in rock and punk.

The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan models (SPB-2 series). These offer a more powerful character than the stock pickups, delivering a sound that projects forward while maintaining its richness.

The bridge has been replaced with a vintage-style unit (19mm pitch / steel saddles). This maintains Fender’s characteristic natural resonance and quick attack without over-modernizing the sound.

It has also been refretted, ensuring excellent playability. The electronics have been replaced, putting it in a condition where you can use it with confidence.

While it may be less authentic, this is a "battle-tested" instrument that excels in playability and tonal balance. It delivers the robust tone characteristic of a 1970s Precision Bass, combined with ease of play and a clear, projecting sound.
The finish on the neck side is peeling off in places.
Otherwise, there are signs of wear appropriate for its age, such as scratches, dents, some paint peeling, and tarnished parts, but it gives the impression of a well-played instrument with a sense of character.
We have re-fret the instrument as dents were observed on the frets upon arrival.
There are currently no issues with its playability.
