The Yamaha SC-800 combines original design with versatile sound-shaping capabilities.
As the top-of-the-line model in the SC series introduced in the late 1970s, it features an alder body, a maple neck, and a striped ebony fingerboard. The hard-tail bridge and string-through-body construction ensure stable tuning and rich sustain.

Equipped with three original single-coil pickups, it incorporates the “Super Combinator” system—the instrument’s most distinctive feature. Each pickup has its own independent switch, allowing you to not only switch between output levels but also select reverse-phase connection, enabling you to enjoy a wide range of sound variations not found on a typical three-single-coil guitar. It supports a diverse range of tones, from clean sounds to crisp cutting tones and distinctive phased sounds.
The tone pot has been replaced due to damage.
There are scattered scratches and dents, along with signs of metal deterioration and rust discoloration, giving it a slightly used appearance.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
