The True Vintage (TV) model reconstructs the legendary 1942 J-45 with specifications closer to the original vintage. Its lightweight design prioritizing resonance sets it apart from the current Standard models.
Featuring a Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides and back in the classic round-shoulder configuration. A thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish delivers fast response and a rich, airy resonance. Full-bodied lows, sticky mids, and rounded highs blend comfortably, making it versatile for everything from vocal accompaniment to fingerstyle.
The neck shape and texture are also tuned with a vintage feel, giving you that "well-played" sensation the moment you pick it up.
This model is recommended for those who want to enjoy a traditional workhorse with a more classic orientation.
