USED Squier / SST-30S T/M Tobacco Sunburst [11]

A Stratocaster model that embodies the affordability and fine craftsmanship typical of Japanese-made Squier guitars from the early 1980s.
Although it was positioned as an entry-level model at the time, this guitar features the stable neck precision and solid basic construction characteristic of Fujigen.
It features the classic Strat look—a maple fingerboard and tobacco sunburst finish—along with vintage-style synchronized tremolo and an SSS pickup configuration.

It is equipped with ceramic pickups, characterized by a bright and natural tone. It is easy to play from clean to light overdrive, and its well-balanced sound makes it suitable for any genre.

Although the wood is difficult to identify, the grain stands out clearly depending on the angle, giving it a texture consistent with alder. This suggests a tonal potential that is a cut above other models in the same price range from that era.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that there are no signs of parts having been replaced, and both the electronics and hardware remain in their original condition.
The tremolo arm is missing.
While there are some minor scratches and dents, and it shows signs of wear commensurate with its age, it remains in good condition for an instrument over 40 years old.
There is a slight backward bow on the 6th string side of the neck, but the frets have been leveled and playability is good.
