An active PJ bass that carries on the BB series tradition while incorporating modern features.

The “BB734A” carries on the BB Series’ unique design philosophy, featuring a 3-ply alder/maple/alder body and a 5-piece maple/mahogany neck. While boasting a traditional look, this model is equipped with an active/passive switch, making it versatile for a wide range of sound shaping.

The body features a three-ply construction with a maple core, delivering rich midrange and excellent sustain. The neck employs a rigid five-piece maple/mahogany construction, which—combined with a sturdy six-point miter-bolted joint—supports a powerful tone and stable playability.

It is equipped with YGD Custom V7 Alnico V pickups in a PJ configuration. It covers a wide range of sounds, from the thick, powerful tone characteristic of a Precision Bass to the clear, well-defined sound typical of a Jazz Bass. Furthermore, the active circuit with a 3-band EQ and the active/passive switch allow for flexible sound shaping tailored to any genre or playing style.
While there are a few minor scuffs, the overall condition is clean with minimal signs of use.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in excellent playing condition.
