For customers residing in Japan
This is a 2024 1969 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic equipped with a Josefin Hand-Wound pickup.

While faithfully reproducing details unique to the 1969 specification—such as the large headstock, round laminated rosewood fingerboard, and 1969 “U”-shaped neck—it combines a vintage-like appearance with modern playability through the use of an AAA-grade rosewood fingerboard, a 9.5-inch radius, and 6105 frets.

It is equipped with hand-wound pickups by Josefa Campos. Featuring clear high frequencies, a solid midrange, and a rich, bell-like tone characteristic of 1969 models, it delivers a wide range of expressive sounds, from clean tones to driven sounds.

The finish is the distinguished Journeyman Relic specification. It conveys a natural patina that looks as though the guitar has been cherished and played for many years, and its refined, aged appearance—which is never overdone—is another appealing feature.

Included accessories are a genuine tweed hard case, a certificate of authenticity, and a spec sheet (Floor Traveler). Although models from this era typically come with a black Tolex case, this particular instrument is noted on the spec sheet as having been modified to include the tweed case.
The lock pins have been replaced with Schaller models. The original ones are missing.
Since the instrument was originally treated with a relic finish, it is difficult to distinguish between scratches and damage caused by subsequent use.
The neck is slightly bowing toward the 6th string and has a slight twist. The frets have been leveled, and playability is good.

The tuning pegs felt stiff, particularly the 6th and 5th string pegs, which were heavy to turn in some areas and had noticeable play, so we disassembled and inspected them. Inside, we found gear wear and interference from wear debris, so we cleaned and regreased them, which has improved the operation to some extent. While it can currently be tuned normally, there is a possibility that symptoms such as stiffness or free play may recur in the future due to gear wear.
