The “TH-BJ4,” a JB-style model from the high-end series of “HISTORY,” a private label brand from a certain music store.
This instrument combines the classic JB style of the 1960s with modern playability and high-quality components.
It features a two-piece alder body, a Heritage Wood hard maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.
The body features a lacquer topcoat and a polyurethane undercoat, combining the rich, velvety texture unique to lacquer with high durability designed for practical use.
It incorporates the Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.), a hallmark of Fujigen’s production era, delivering excellent intonation and a rich tone.
Furthermore, the back of the neck features a “Silky Feel Grip,” providing a smooth, unvarnished-like feel that ensures excellent playability.
This is a meticulously crafted Japanese-made jazz bass that combines vintage style with modern playability.
There are signs of wear throughout, including scratches, dents, and peeling paint.
Signs of aging, such as rust and tarnish, are visible on the metal parts.
There are multiple areas of paint peeling on the body top and end where the wood is visible.
The strap pins have been replaced with Fender-style ones.
The neck shows no noticeable abnormalities and is in good playing condition.
