The G&L SB-2CFS PREMIUM MIJ is a model based on the SB-2 designed by Leo Fender, precision-crafted as part of the Japanese-made premium line. The Circle Fretting System (CFS) improves intonation and chord cohesion, delivering consistent performance from live shows to recording sessions.

The PJ pickup layout delivers an extremely thick low end from the front pickup and adds attack and definition from the rear pickup. It has a more assertive presence than a typical PJ setup, making it stand out clearly even within a band ensemble.

The controls feature a practical configuration consisting of a master volume/balancer with stacked knobs, plus a master tone control. This allows for intuitive adjustment of pickup balance while maintaining volume, making it exceptionally easy to use on stage.

Combining a design philosophy directly rooted in the USA with the precision finish unique to Japanese craftsmanship, this is a simple yet highly refined instrument.
