From Lakland’s Japanese-made Shoreline Series comes this model, which offers a wide range of sound-shaping possibilities thanks to its MM+J pickup configuration.
Featuring a swamp ash body paired with a maple neck and maple fingerboard, this instrument lets you appreciate the natural wood grain unique to its natural finish. In addition to its two-pickup configuration—combining MM and J-style pickups—it features the classic Bartolini pickup setup, delivering a wide range of tones from powerful, rich MM-style sounds to delicate, clear J-style sounds.

In terms of electronics, in addition to a master volume and blend control, it features a Lakland LH-3 3-band preamp, allowing for active tone shaping of Bass, Middle, and Treble. It also includes a coil-tap function for the rear pickup and a preamp bypass function, enabling flexible adaptation to your playing style and the music—from simple passive sounds to versatile active sounds.

This model combines the meticulous craftsmanship unique to the Shoreline Series—manufactured in Japan—with Lakland’s signature playability and functionality. Since the current specification features Lakland’s original pickups, the unique appeal of the older specification—which was equipped with Bartolini pickups—is another key highlight.
