A Semi-Hollow x Humbucker Combo That Adds a New Dimension to the Telecaster

The Fender Japan TN72-93 is a semi-hollow body model based on the ’72-spec Telecaster Thinline. Featuring an ash body with an F-hole and two wide-range humbuckers, it delivers a rich mid-low end and a full-bodied sound that belies its sleek appearance.

The crisp attack of the maple neck blends exquisitely with the airy quality unique to semi-hollow bodies, producing a resonant depth in clean tones and a rock tone with grit and punch when driven. It achieves a balance between the richness of tone unattainable with single-coil pickups and the ease of handling that comes from not being as heavy as a Les Paul.

This performance-ready model combines the classic Telecaster silhouette with distinctive tonal variations. It’s a highly practical semi-hollow Telecaster that excels in a wide range of settings, regardless of genre.
There are signs of wear, such as minor scratches, dents, and some tarnish on the parts.
The neck is in good condition, and the instrument plays well.
