The G3156 Streamliner, part of Gretsch’s Historic Series.

This model makes a striking impression with its distinctive color scheme—a white-toned top paired with metallic gray sides—along with a Cat’s Eye-shaped soundhole and gold hardware.

While offering the rich resonance characteristic of a hollow-body guitar, the two DeArmond pickups deliver a sparkling, crisp sound. It features the light, snappy attack and unique compression typical of Gretsch, making it versatile enough for everything from chord work to rock ’n’ roll and country music.

It features an Adjusto-Matic bridge and a Bigsby tailpiece. Combined with the large hollow-body design, this creates a finish with a striking visual presence.

This instrument is an early Historic Series G3156, believed to have been manufactured in 1999. It was produced during a different era than the current Streamliner series, and its specifications—unseen in current models—add to its appeal.
There is some crackling in the master tone pot. Although cleaning has improved the issue for now, it may recur.
There is some plating wear and pitting on the metal parts.
There are scratches and dents, and the instrument shows some signs of wear.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
