The Santana SE Ver. 2, a second-generation model manufactured in South Korea in 2002.
This is an older model from the PRS SE series, which debuted as Carlos Santana’s signature model; it features specifications unique to that era, differing from the current SE Santana.

It combines a mahogany body with a mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard, featuring the wide neck shape characteristic of Santana models. With two humbuckers, a 3-way selector switch, and simple 1 Volume / 1 Tone controls, this configuration allows you to enjoy the rich, resonant sound typical of Santana.

It features characteristics of the second-generation “Ver. 2,” such as binding around the neck and fingerboard, a pickguard, and body contouring. However, it is equipped with covered-type humbuckers—a feature carried over from the early models—making this a combination unique to the period around 2002 when specifications were being revised.
The tone pot was replaced with an ALPHA unit due to a malfunction.
The screw hole in the middle of the control panel is stripped, making it difficult to open.
There is paint chipping on the back edge of the body. Around the pole pieces of the rear pickup, there are marks that appear to be from melted adhesive. Additionally, there are scratches, dents, and rust on the metal throughout the instrument, indicating it has seen use.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
