The APG-85S is an electric guitar equipped with FERNANDES’ original Sustainer system.

This model makes a striking impression with its bold, rugged look, featuring a black body paired with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. It is equipped with a Sustainer driver in the front, a single-coil pickup in the middle, and a humbucker in the rear. The middle and rear pickups are relatively high-output models, offering a versatile sound suitable for a wide range of genres.

The Sustainer system, which prolongs string vibration, produces long sustain and unique feedback sounds that cannot be achieved with standard pickups, enabling a wide range of musical expression. The FRT-5PRO bridge is designed to handle dynamic whammy bar playing. Combined with its 24-fret configuration, this guitar is well-suited for technical playing.
There is a crack in the finish extending from the neck joint on the 6th string side to the back of the body.
