USED Gibson / 30th Anniv. Les Paul Standard GT 1982 Gold Top [12]

The Les Paul was released in 1952 as a model for jazz guitarist Les Paul, and became a representative model of the electric guitar.
This anniversary model was produced between 1981 and 1983 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its release, and this one was made in 1982, as indicated by the B at the beginning of the serial number.
The volume pots are dated 1378828 for both front and rear, so they were replaced with '88 models, but the tone pots are dated 137823x for front and 13782xx for rear, so they are original '82 models.
Both front and rear pickups are Tim Shaw PAF made in '82.
The bridge has been replaced with a GOTOH Nashville type bridge with stud anchors.
The body is maple top/mahogany back, and the neck is 3-piece mahogany, which is a specification from the 70's to early 80's. The weight is 4.99kg.
Weighing 4.99kg, it is a heavy weight typical of this era, but it has a tight and warm tone with a low, attacked and extended sound.

There is a broken neck that has been repaired, but it has been firmly glued back together.
The third string peg is slightly bent, but this does not affect tuning or operation.
There are many scratches and dents scattered throughout, and the paint is peeling on the body back, end, and outer edge.
There is green rust along the binding of the body top, and the escutcheon is cracked.
There is a crack on the neck binding at the fret edge, and the remaining frets are about 50% full, but there is no problem with playing the instrument as it is now.
The guitar has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition.
The hard case that comes with the instrument has tears and other damage on the exterior, and the handle has been replaced.
