McCarty is now in stock, using an abundance of Corinna wood!
Corinna is a rare wood used by Gibson in 1958 for their avant-garde models such as FV, EX, Futura, and Modern.
This is a very luxurious model that uses the same Korina for the body and neck.
It is said to have characteristics similar to mahogany, but it is characterized by a slightly harder midrange than mahogany, and its rich overtones and good punch have a unique texture not found in any other wood.
You can enjoy its unique sound not only with clean tones, but also with crunch and drive sounds.

Condition comments
There are some minor scratches and dents scattered throughout, and the metal parts are tarnished.
The instrument has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition.

1958年にGibsonがFVやEX、Futura、Modernといった当時としては前衛的なモデルに使用していた希少材コリーナ。
そのコリーナをボディ/ネックに使用した大変贅沢なモデルです。
マホガニーに近い特性とされておりますが、マホガニーよりもやや硬質なミッドレンジに特徴があり、豊かな倍音と抜けの良さは他の木材には無い独特の質感です。
クリーントーンはもちろん、クランチやドライブサウンドでも、その個性的なサウンドをお楽しみいただけます。

全体的に細かい擦り傷や打痕が散在しており、金属パーツにくすみがございます。
やや使用感はございますが、弊社リペアセンターにて各部メンテナンス・クリーニング済みでプレイヤビリティは良好です。
