USED Greco / VB-115L Sunburst [12]

A replica model of the violin bass by Greco is now in stock.
This is a left-handed replica model of the violin bass famously used by Paul McCartney of the Beatles, manufactured by Greco, a well-established Japanese guitar brand.

Although the original is a German Hefner, it has been faithfully reproduced down to the three-layer nut, pickups, distinctive bridge and tailpiece, and controls.

The short scale, hollowbody, bridge/tailpiece not fixed to the body, and flatwound strings produce a one-of-a-kind sound that is useful for acoustic sessions.
There is a paint lift between the nut and zero fret on the first string side.
There are also some minor scratches and dings scattered throughout, and the metal parts are tarnished.
The truss rod has a small amount left in the tightening direction, and there are some signs of use, but the playability is good as each part has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center.
