USED Fender / 1974 Stratocaster MOD Natural / Maple Fingerboard [12]

We have a 1974 Strat in stock.
There is no body/neck date, but we have determined that it was made in 1974 by the serial number, PAT.3,143,028 patent number under the head logo, and rear pickup date ('74).

It has a large head, F-KEY pegs, two corrugated string guides, and a bullet nut.

The nut has been replaced with a brass one, and it has been refretted, but the frets are very low due to use.

The front pickups have been replaced with black bobbin/crosswire pickups of unknown make and model, but the center (missing date) and rear pickups have the original gray bobbins.
All three pots have been replaced with domestic pots, knobs have also been replaced with domestic ones, lever switches have been replaced, and aluminum foil has been added behind the pickguard and inside the pickup cavities.
Aluminum foil has also been applied to the controls, but these are original specs.
Two mini switches have been added, but they are dummies and are currently not functioning.

The ash body and one-piece maple neck are hard wood specs, but after being played for many years, it has a slightly fat sound with a good amount of overtones in the mid-range.
There are many scratches, dents, and paint chips scattered throughout the instrument from the head to the body, and there is a paint crack on the neck joint.
There is paint discoloration and peeling from the head side to the neck grip, which has been over-lacquered.
The back panel is missing, many parts have been replaced, and the frets are very low, but the guitar has been set up at our repair center in a condition that does not interfere with playing.
The hard case is original, but there are many sticker marks and pen writings on the exterior.
