The original was a rare spec solid color series that existed only in the late 60s. Although it looks familiar now, the idea of combining a black body with a white large guard in the 60s, when acoustic guitar designs were limited, is the essence of Gibson-ism. The adjustable saddle makes it easy to adjust the string height, and the jangly sound that can only be produced by this saddle is very comfortable to play. Even though it is a reissue from the late 60's, it has a 43mm nut width and a thicker neck grip than the Standard model, so you can use it in a wide range of genres without feeling the lack of bass range. This is a guitar that is still looking forward to further growth. Please play it as much as you like.
There is one small scratch on the lower part of the body top and some paint smudging from the center of the body back to the waist of the 6th string side. (The part where the body hits the instrument when you hold it sitting down.) You can see it when you hold it up to the light. There are other minor scratches such as wipes, but they seem to be minimal. This is recommended for those who are considering purchasing a new item.
