USED Aria Pro II / JB-450 1976 Sunburst [12]

Aria JB type made by Matsumoku is now in stock.
In the 1970s, when many domestic instrument makers were producing copy models of foreign brands, Aria Pro II, a long-established brand, released this JB type.
The serial number indicates that it was made in 1976, and as the engraving on the joint plate indicates, it was manufactured by Matsumoku, which was responsible for the production of many domestic brands.

According to the catalog of the time, the body material is Linden (basswood), but this one is thought to be made of Sen from the grain.

Maple neck/maple fretboard with pearloid block position, truss rod adjustment is on the neck end side, so it has mixed specifications from the late 60s to 70s.

The original front pickup was disconnected and has been replaced with a Japanese-made JB-1F pickup, and the sound output is fine.

This model is positioned as an entry grade in the lineup of the time, but you can feel the high precision of the Japanese woodworking techniques and integration at that time.
There are many small and large paint chips scattered on the body end and sides.
There are also scratches and dings commensurate with its age, and the hardware is dull.
The truss rod is fully tightened and the neck is slightly bent forward, but it has been set up in a condition that does not interfere with playing.

One of the zipper snaps of the soft case is broken, but it can be opened and closed.
