プリ・アーニー期、1978年製のスティングレイが入荷しました！
1972年にレオ・フェンダーをはじめとしたフェンダー関係者によって設立したミュージックマン。そして1976年にエレクトリック・ベースを代表する1本にもなるスティングレイが誕生しました。今回入荷した個体はプリ・アーニー期の中でも初期にあたる3点止め、裏通しブリッジ仕様の1978年製の1本。2バンドEQでアクティブながらこの時期特有のナチュラルな図太さをもったサウンドです。
全体的に年代相応の使用感があり、ピックアップ高さ調整ビスの頭が1本なめておりますが調整は可能です。フレットは擦り合わせされて6分程残っており、ネックコンディション良好、トラスロッドも調整可能です。

Music Man was founded in 1972 by Leo Fender and other Fender people. In 1976, the Stingray, one of the most popular electric basses, was born. This is one of the early pre-earnie basses, made in 1978 with a 3-point stopper and back-through bridge. 2-band EQ gives it an active sound with a natural fatness characteristic of this period.
One of the pickup height adjustment screws has been tapped out, but it can be adjusted. The neck is in good condition and the truss rod is adjustable.
