USED Fender Japan / JB-165VR / THE VENTURES Bob Bagle Model SBS [12]

Bob Bogle's signature model, which was active as the bassist of THE VENTURES, is now in stock.
This model was listed in the Fender Japan catalog from 1996 to 1999, and was unified with the same design as THE VENTURES model Jazzmaster and Stratocaster, which were released at the same time.

Based on a 70's Jazz Bass with a bullet nut and block position bound neck, it featured a black sunburst finish, a pearloid pickguard with integrated control plate, white pickup covers, and gorgeous gold hardware.

Lightweight ash body with maple neck/rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets.
The pickups are Fender USA-made VINTAGE JAZZBASS, which outputs a vintage jazz bass sound with clear contours.

There is a signature mark on the body top that is believed to belong to Jerry McGee, guitarist of THE VENTURES, and a signature on the body bag that is believed to belong to Leon Taylor, the oldest son of Mel Taylor, the original drummer and the fifth generation drummer.
The letter A of the JAZZ BASS logo on the head top is missing.
Overall, there are some minor scratches and dings, but the instrument is in good condition with little signs of use.
The strings have been replaced and cleaned in the store, and playability is good.
