USED Gibson Custom Shop / Murphy Lab 1959 Les Paul Standard Ultra Light Aged Washed Cherry [12]

A 2024 Murphy Lab 1959 Les Paul Standard has arrived.
It features the "Ultra Light Aged" finish, the lightest level of aging with only weather checking.
It is based on the revived "Historic Collection."
It features True Historic-grade parts, and its appearance has been further refined with a cleaner headstock logo and more authentic, darker fingerboard inlays.

The figured maple grain on the body top appears understated and subdued when viewed head-on, but the way it dramatically shifts its appearance as you change your angle is simply breathtaking.
The beauty of the grain, especially when viewed from the player’s perspective while holding the guitar, offers a blissful joy that only the player can truly appreciate.

The pickups feature the "Custombucker Alnico III (Unpotted)," a staple in recent reissue models. By eliminating the potting that was traditionally applied to the Custom Bucker covers, the pickups gain added edge and range. This reflects Gibson’s extraordinary dedication to the never-ending pursuit of vintage tone.

The pots have been replaced with ones featuring a curve closer to vintage specifications, and Luxe Bumblebee capacitors have been adopted.
The wiring, including Luxe Bumblebee capacitors and pots with vintage curves, thoroughly recreates the vintage Les Paul.
Although it has undergone an Ultra Light Aged finish, there is paint damage on the neck grip and the edges of the body back that differs from the original specifications.
The strings have been replaced and the guitar has been cleaned in-store, so playability is excellent.
