USED YAMAHA / SG-1000 Brown Sunburst [12]

We have received a 1982 Yamaha SG-1000.
The "SG" is one of Yamaha's flagship models, featuring high-quality wood, precision craftsmanship, and the V-Sound System for versatile sound shaping.

The body features a maple top and mahogany back, with a set-neck joint made of maple and mahogany. The body is contoured for a comfortable fit. Gold hardware gives it a luxurious look.

Controls include two volume knobs, two tone knobs, and a 3-way pickup selector switch. Additionally, the tone knobs feature a push function for coil tapping, known as "Bi-Sound." It produces a thick, rich tone that pairs exceptionally well with overdriven sounds. The balanced clarity in the high frequencies and the warmth in the midrange are outstanding.
Overall, there are scratches, dents, tarnish on the metal parts, and peeling plating. There is some clouding in places, and the knob plate is missing.
The frets have been filed down and have about 70% of their original height remaining; the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
