TRU-FI Colordriver 71 (9V/18V) has arrived used!
Rebuilt based on the 1971 Colorsound Overdriver, this design features a wide headroom and allows switching between the traditional 9V operation and 18V operation via internal voltage boosting.
Features a BC184 transistor, delivering a versatile tuning that adds grit and fuzz-like texture at full gain while functioning as a high-quality boost at lower gain settings
It shares a character close to the Colordriver 69 while delivering a more raw and thicker drive, recreating the classic Power Boost Overdriver-style sound in a compact enclosure.
Its sound design excels at delivering classic rock tones that push tube amps, covering everything from clean boost to fuzz-like drive
Features a chassis over 20% smaller than previous models for easier pedalboard integration, finished as a model where you can enjoy the character of each hand-built unit
Minimal wear, excellent condition.
